I am going to try and finish this tiny-top-of-tedium over the weekend. And I'm using the scarf as motivation. I am being good and using a massive skein of wool that I already have in my stash. Unless I make a big wool-eating mistake I should have the right amount, with 13 yards to spare....I hope this isn't asking for trouble. It's a cream colour which I think will be nice and wearable. But I have to get the needles, will do that today. So does a Monday start work for you?
Cream colour sounds lovely. I've been flipping through other people's pictures and I think it should turn out really nicely (well, at least others' did). I have some 5mm and 5.5mm needles, so I might do a gauge swatch this morning and decide whether I need to buy 6mm.
Wow, that is teeny tiny. I never have the patience for that kind of wool. Looks cute though.
ReplyDeleteYesterday I started another baby hat for Africa. In horrible acrylic - it feels so yucky in my hands. I want to quit and just start the scarf!
Yup, I know the feeling.
