Bebeh Bootehs
I warn you not to make these. They are a complete pain! It took me ages to finish them because I got a feeling of dread whenever I thought about the pattern. But finally they are finished and a weight has been lifted off my shoulders : )

ReplyDeleteYeah, button collections are awesome. I remember happily playing for hours with my Mum's when I was little. I still like to sift through whenever I'm at their place. Maybe if I'm really lucky, I'll inherit it...
Tonight I knitted at Janina's house and I was so thoroughly put to craftwork shame when she showed us all her hand-built couch. Yes, a couch, that she and her boyfriend (of only one year I might add) built themselves. He did the carpentry and she the sewing and upholstering.
I don't know how to do anything cool. Hang on, is it "cool" to make your own couch?
Pfft. Handmade couches are so not cool. Don't you worry.
ReplyDeleteThese booties are knit in the round and they are fiddly and annoying and you have to pick up a million (or maybe 62) stitches. I would rather sew up seams and be done with it.
